Started our day very early to visit Swiss watch shop...it was so cold...This is the first photo i took in front of the Swiss watch shop.. it was so tempting to buy something here but it was too expensive..

While others were browsing around we were out about to explore near by~~

Swiss is also known for their chocolate so we did bought some chocolate back to the hotel.. i m not too sure it was any better than what i had tried back at home but it was good..mayb it was the phycholgical thingie..umm

Lucerne in english

River that joins the Lake

Apparently the waters are so clean that you can literally drink straight from it (this is true)

One of the cleanest water in the world our tour guide tells us. It's crystal clear so i have no doubt in that.

See the house in the middle? that house is the oldest house in Lucerne.. it dates back hundreds of years and passed down to same decendants.

Back to the city after that cruise

then checked out on Lion monument. Long long time ago people of Lucerne who were rich has hired some sculture artist from Italy?Germany? France? sorry  i forgot now.. anyway Lion was a simbol of Lucerne. Ppl of Lucerne did not pay the right amount bcoz they were greedy so the artist has carved a shape of a pig around the lion to mock the ppl and i guess to show they were pigs. Can you see the pig ears on top of Lion's head, pig face near the shield.
